Finding the beauty in Everything!

Now, I know some of you are probably thinking this is ridiculous, how on earth am I supposed to find the beauty in Everything? But something that I have come to learn is that no matter what you go through in life, the people you meet, all the challenges you face, your morning walk or even your nightly skincare routine, there is something that can be seen as beautiful.

Seems like a difficult task to do right? Beauty can be subjective to all of us. What I find beautiful, you may not and vice versa. What does beauty mean to you? And what does it really mean by finding the beauty in everything?

According to the Oxford Dictionary, Beauty is defined as “A combination of qualities, such as shape, colour, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight”. The philosopher and teacher, Confucius said “Everything has beauty but not everyone sees it.”

Now I’m not talking about who find attractive and who you think looks hotter than your ex boyfriend ! I’m talking deeper, I’m talking about removing labels and boxes and seeing things for what they truly are and appreciating the very concept of what it is. Of-course were all going to find certain people more attractive than others and were all going to have different opinions on that. But allowing yourself to see the beauty in everything is going to increase your good energy and raise your vibrations. You will learn to let go and embrace the present.

Here are a few ways in which you can start seeing the beauty in everything….

Think of endings as new beginnings…..

It is inevitable that endings are going to take place at some point in our lives, whether thats the end of a relationship, the end of a job, loss of a friendship and so on. In moments like this, we can appreciate beauty in endings as it leads us to new beginnings.

How can you see the beauty in a breakup?

I am a firm believer that people enter our lives for a reason, whether they are meant to be there temporarily or permanent, they teach us something. The reason things have had to end is because you are moving to places that they are not. You are growing! It is totally okay to out grow someone, we all grow in different ways and your moving on to bigger and better! If you’re the one who has had to end a relationship for whatever reason Well Done ! I am proud of you! It can never be easy to end something that once was great but know that this is a huge step in achieving bigger and better results. It’s a huge step for reaching your goals and being the best version of yourself you can be. Only be with those who lift you up, encourage you to be your authentic self, the best version of yourself! Because this is what you deserve. If things ended and you weren’t expecting it or not ready for it, don’t worry! This door had to close in order for you to be protected and to receive what is right for you. Utilise this time to work on yourself, spend some time working on self-care, self-love, manifestation and meditation. Raise your vibrations and energy and start focusing on you!!

At any ending you encounter from now on, try to remind yourself that this can be the start of something great to come.

PAUSE….

We are all guilty of being in a rush, working too hard and feeling like we have no time. I’m sure many of you reading this feel like your in this 9-5 job that has the same routine, same commute, usual Friday night drinks after work and so on. But how many of you have really opened your eyes on that commute to work. Have you really noticed the beauty in your surroundings. We often take for granted what is directly in front of us and I think when you start opening yourself up to gratitude you start noticing the beauty in more and vice versa.

Seeing the beauty in your morning walk….

Now for me this one is easy and I’m sure this is for you to. This morning I decided to grab myself a nice sugar free Vanilla Soya Latte and take a stroll around Hyde Park (Yes I’m fortunate enough to live so close) and on my walk, I took time to really appreciate the autumn leaves, the children playing in the mud and a group of mums playing ring-a-ring-a-roses (Not sure if thats even how you spell it, but I’m sure you get the jist). I stood still and admired the squirrels, which are my personal favourite, their so cute and so free spirited! I saw people taking pictures of the parrots in the trees and one in particular sitting on a mans hand as he was feeding it – Yes there are Parrots!! Every time I walk, I always take a moment, take a deep breath and just enjoy and appreciate my surroundings and give thanks for what is around me. When you truly stand still you can appreciate the beauty in all things!

So next time you go to meet your friend in the park for a coffee and a chat, take some time to acknowledge your surroundings, admire the gifts that are all around us and give gratitude to the things you find beauty in.

Seeing beauty in pain….

Im sure you’ve heard the phrase “there’s beauty in pain” before, and when it comes to viewing pain as beauty, it is probably one of the hardest things to find beauty in.

Nobody wants to be in pain. Physical or emotional, lets face it pain does not feel beautiful. But there’s a way in which we can turn this around. Try seeing the beauty in pain in that you are now so much stronger than you were before. You recognise that you can withstand more in life than you ever had imagined. You can now appreciate how far you have come and how truly strong you are.

I have experienced a lot of physical and emotional pain in my life. But when I look back, I can appreciate how far I have come and how strong I am to have come out the other side. I feel like I can take on anything that is thrown at me because I’ve dealt with so much. You’re still here, and that in itself is beautiful! We can offer support and encouragement to those who are in pain because we’ve made it through our circumstances, and that is the beauty in pain you can be grateful for.
